Airbus: inaugurartes Innovation Centre in China
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced the inauguration of its Innovation Centre at an opening ceremony in Shenzhen, China, one of the world's leading innovation centres.
This innovation centre is currently focused on the design, testing and certification of new technologies in five areas: computer labs, cabin experience, connectivity, manufacturing innovation and urban mobility.
At the ceremony, Airbus also signed a memorandum of understanding with the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau to explore urban air mobility (UAM) solutions in Shenzhen.
As Airbus' first innovation centre in Asia and second worldwide after A3 in Silicon Valley, Airbus China Innovation Centre's mission is to fully leverage local advantages including talents, enterprises and ecosystem, combining it with Airbus expertise in aerospace, to identify, explore and accelerate breakthroughs in technologies, business models and new growth opportunities.
