Airbus: delivers first A330-900 to TAP Air Portugal
(CercleFinance.com) - TAP Air Portugal has received the first Airbus A330neo new-generation widebody aircraft.
The Portuguese company will receive another twenty A330-900s in the next few years.
TAP Air Portugal's first A330-900 has been leased to Avolon. It has 298 seats in a three-class configuration;: 34 seats in business class, 96 seats in economy plus class and 168 seats in economy class. The plane will be deployed between Portugal, the Americas and Africa.
TAP Air Portugal currently operates a fleet of 72 Airbus aircraft (18 A330, 4 A340 and 50 planes from the A320 family).
