Airbus: 9m earnings up 4%

com) -Airbus Group reports consolidated net income that is up 4% at 1,453 million euros over the first nine months of 2018, or 1.88 euros per share, with adjusted EBIT that more than doubled (+126%) to 2,738 million euros.
Revenues increased by over 6% to 40.4 billion euros, mainly thanks to Airbus and including changes in its consolidation scope. The aircraft manufacturer delivered a total of 503 commercial aircraft, compared to 454 over the same period last year.
Airbus plans to deliver about 800 commercial aircraft this year. On this basis, before mergers and acquisitions, the company still aims to report FY 2018 adjusted EBIT of around five billion euros.
