Airbus: UBS raises guidance to 124 euros
(CercleFinance.com) - UBS responds to the half-yearly figures published by Airbus Group.
Confirming its 'Buy' recommendation on the share, it raised its 12-month target price from 107 to 124 euros (approximately +16%).
The analysts raise their adjusted operating income forecasts for 2018 and 2019 from 4% to 6%.
The primary reason for this is cited as “comments from management stating that interest (from clients) for wide-body planes [or twin-aisle as opposed to the single aisle planes such as the A320] is higher now than in 2016 and 2017”, as indicated by a research note.
Finally, prospects in terms of prices and orders for single-aisle craft are considered “encouraging” in the mid-term.
