Airbus: announces six orders for the A330neo
(CercleFinance.com) - Still from the Farnborough Airshow, Airbus announces the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire six long-haul A330neos with a client whose name has not been revealed.
The European aircraft manufacturer underlines that the A330neo is the revamped version (with Rolls Royce Trent 7000 reactors) of the twin-engine craft, which also features Sharklets (features to reduce aerodynamic drag) on wingtips. They enable fuel-savings of 25% per seat and increase flying range.
