Airbus: order for 80 A320neo from an undisclosed lessor
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding with a leading global lessor for 80 aircraft from the A320neo family.
The agreement was entered into at the Farnborough Airshow.
With the widest single-aisle cabin in the market, the A320neo comprises all the latest technology, in particular new generation engines and Sharklets, which currently generate savings of over 15% in fuel and CO2, going up to 20% in 2020.
With over 6,100 orders received from ove 100 clients, the A320neo family represents approximately 60% of the market.
