Airbus: Aegean Airlines orders 30 A320neo
(CercleFinance.com) - AEGEAN Airlines, Greece's largest airline, has confirmed its order of 30 aircraft from the A320neo family.
This contract covers the acquisition of 10 A321neo and 20 A320neo. AEGEAN currently operates a fleet of 49 Airbus aircraft (37 A320s, 11 A321s and one A319).
The A321 is the largest capacity aircraft in the A320 family. It can accommodate between 185 and 240 passengers, depending on the cabin layout. Featuring the latest advances in terms of engines and aerodynamics, and a number of cabin innovations, the A321neo has a non-stop range of up to 7,400 km (4,000 nm) - more than any other single aisle aircraft.
