Airbus: BelugaXL passes ground vibration tests
(CercleFinance.com) - BelugaXL, the Airbus-designed super-cargo plane that is set to make its maiden flight this summer, has just successfully completed its Ground Vibration Test (GVT) tests, Airbus announced this morning.
Ground vibration tests are used to measure an aircraft's dynamic behaviour and confirm the theoretical models of flight in varying conditions: manoeuvers, flight during strong winds, touching down on landing, and the like.
