Airbus: two orders for a total of 35 helicopters
(CercleFinance.com) - With the Heli Expo being held in Las Vegas, Airbus Group yesterday announced the order totalling 35 helicopters.
The terms were not specified.
On the one hand, the American group Metro Aviation has ordered 25 EC145e. Airbus said that this is one of the largest civilian helicopter orders ever made by an American company. These 25 helicopters will be mainly used for emergency medical transport. They will be manufactured at Airbus' site in Columbus, Missouri.
On the other hand, the Helicopter division of the European Aerospace Group said that Heliflite China has ordered seven H125s and three H130s. These ten light helicopters will be used by emergency medical services.
