Airbus: agreements finalised for mega Indigo order
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that it has finalised the agreements with Indigo Partners for the purchase of 430 additional medium-haul A320neo aircrafts destined for the budget carriers Frontier Airlines (USA), JetSMART (Chile), Volaris (Mexico) and Wizz Air (Hungaria).
These agreements are a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding entered into at the latest Dubai Airshow. They represent a value of 49.5 billion dollars at theoretical list price (before trade discounts).
Specifically, the mega-order relates to 273 A320neo craft and 157 A321neo craft. 134 aircrafts are destined to Frontier Airlines, 70 to JetSMART, 80 to Volaris and 146 to Wizz Air.
