Airbus: starts delivery of A380s to Singapore Airlines
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that Singapore Airlines has received the first of its five new A380, which will join its fleet over the next year, and will be the first of its fleet to be equipped with innovations and the company's latest in-cabin innovative products.
In addition to its five new aircraft, Singapore Airlines will install its new in-cabin products on 14 A380s that are already in service. Retrofitting works will begin at the end of 2018 and the upgrading of the 14 aircraft will be completed in 2020.
To date, the A380 is operated by 13 world-class companies, going to 120 international destinations. Since its commissioning in 2007, the global A380 fleet has carried over 190 million passengers.
