Airbus: delivery of A350 XWB to China Airlines.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that Taiwan's China Airlines has become the second airline to join a program to use a blend of traditional fuel and sustainable biofuel for its delivery flights.
The aircraft concerned was the tenth A350-900 intended for China Airlines, which left the Toulouse delivery centre for its new base in Taipei, with a mix of 10% sustainable fuel in its tanks.
The sustainable fuel option for delivery flights was developed by Airbus in collaboration with Air Total, which set up the first biofuel station near the aircraft manufacturer's delivery centre in Toulouse.
