Airbus: delivery of A350-900 to Malaysia Airlines.

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that Malaysia Airlines Berhad has received its first A350-900 under a leasing agreement with Air Lease Corporation, hence becoming the 17th airline to operate this new twin-engine widebody aircraft.

This A350-900 is the first delivered to Air Lease Corporation (ALC) as part of an order for 29 aircraft from the A350 family. Eventually, Malaysia Airlines will operate six A350-900s, all of which will be leased from ALC.

Initially, Malaysia Airlines will operate the aircraft on its Asian lines. As from the first quarter of 2018, the airline will operate the A350 on the flagship long-haul route between Kuala Lumpur and London.
