Airbus group: wins new contract with Thales.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Group reported on Tuesday morning that it had notified Thales, a long-term partner of the European aircraft manufacturer, of a contract to supply two new A400M military training flight simulators (numbers 7 and 8).
The French and German air forces will benefit from these new simulators in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
These 2 new Full-Flight simulators will continue the training of the A400M crews in their complex missions such as in-flight refueling and tactical operations at low altitude.
To date, Thales has already delivered five A400M FFS flight simulators and two simplified flight training systems to France, Germany, the UK and the International Training Center in Seville (Spain). A sixth FFS will be delivered to Spain next year.
