Airbus: towards disposal of Premium Aerotec?
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus could sell off all or part of its subsidiary Premium Aerotec, which is specialised in aluminum and carbon fiber components for civil and military aircraft, according to Aurel BGC, which quotes the German newspaper Die Welt.
According to the German daily, the broker specifies that the pan-European aircraft maker is in talks with Onex, a Canadian private equity firm which already has investments in the aerospace sector.
According to information available on its website, Premium Aerotec has annual sales of around 2 billion euros and employs around 10,000 people at different sites in Germany and Romania.
