Airbus: prepares the Govsatcom program.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that it has been contracted by the European Space Agency (ESA) to produce a demonstrator for the future European Governmental Satellite Communications (GOVSATCOM) program.
The GOVSATCOM program will provide countries, organisations and crucial operators in Europe with secure satellite communications services.
This program is scheduled to be launched by 2020 and is in line with major European programs such as Galileo, Copernicus or EDRS-SpaceDataHighway.
