Airbus: nomination in innovation in China.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced the appointment of Luo Gang as CEO of a new innovation centre that the European aircraft manufacturer intends to build in China, and whose location will be announced in the near future.
The new innovation centre, which is scheduled to open officially later this year, will identify the next major changes to transform the aerospace sector.
Airbus points out that Luo Gang has spent almost three years establishing Uber's business in China before it was acquired by Didi Chuxing in 2016. He will report to Paul Eremenko, the group's technology director.
