Airbus: general agreement with China Aviation Supplies.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced signing a General Terms Agreement with China Aviation Supplies Holding Company (CAS) to acquire 140 aircraft, including 100 from the A320 family and 40 from the A350 XWB family.
“This big order is a great endorsement for our leading products in both single aisle and wide body segments”, said Tom Enders, who signed the agreement on the Chinese President, Xi Jinping's official visit to Berlin.
According to the latest Airbus global market forecasts (GMF) for 2017-2036, the global fleet of commercial aircraft with capacities of over 100 seats will more than double over the next 20 years to represent more than 40,000 aircraft.
