Airbus: new order from Wizz Air.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced winning a contract with Wizz Air, the first low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, with a firm order for ten A321ceo aircraft.
These planes will be equipped with International Aero Engines' V2500 engines.
Wizz Air currently has a fleet of 83 aircraft from the A320 family (64 A320s and 19 A321s) and has also ordered 110 A321neo aircraft, which are scheduled to be delivered from 2019. The group will receive a total of 140 aircraft by 2024.
