Airbus: EU approves aid package to develop Airbus' X6.
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved 377 million euros in French and German aid to develop the innovative Airbus X6 heavy helicopter.
For the X6 helicopter project, Airbus will contribute major research and innovation efforts in order to develop an innovative heavy hi-tech civil helicopter.
This aims to simplify access to offshore exploration platforms, also facilitating search and rescue operations and humanitarian missions.
