STMicroelectronics: chosen by South Korea's Nu Eyne
(CercleFinance.com) - STMicroelectronics announced on Wednesday that Nu Eyne, a South Korean medical device manufacturer, had selected it to equip a new ophthalmic device.
The Franco-Italian group said in a statement that Nu Eyne has selected its STM32WB55 Bluetooth microcontroller, a platform that combines two microprocessors on a single silicon chip.
Nu Eyne's recently launched Cellena wearable headsets redirect electrical current and light to the user's eyes and nerves to relieve dry eyes and fatigue, while promoting a healthy retinal function.
