STMicroelectronics: acquisition of Atollic
(CercleFinance.com) - STMicroelectronics has announced the acquisition of software-development tools specialist Atollic, which includes TrueSTUDIO, an environment of integrated development (IDE) that is considered and recognised by professional users.
ST has acquired Atollic, making a cash payment valued at seven million dollars, funded by the group's free cash, coupled with a price supplement that is deferred under certain conditions, which ST currently estimates at approximately 1 million dollars.
