Philips: latest MRI systems approved in US
(CercleFinance.com) - Philips announced on Monday that its latest generation of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems have been cleared by the US health authorities (FDA).
The Dutch medical equipment specialist said the FDA had granted its MR 7700 range 510(k) clearance to be marketed in the US.
Equipped with a range of artificial intelligence features, the MR 7700 line improves the signal-to-noise ratio by 35%, while reducing scan time by 35%.
