Philips: signs 10-year deal with German hospital

(CercleFinance.com) - Philips said on Wednesday that it has won a 10-year deal with Marienhospital Stuttgart, a large German hospital that has 761 beds and over 2,000 employees.


Under the strategic partnership, Philips will provide its digital healthcare equipment, such as pathology slide scanners and computer workstations, in several departments of the medical center.

The Marienhospital Stuttgart, which was founded in 1890, is still owned by the Sisters of Mercy of Saint Vincent de Paul.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
