Philips: acquires Intact Vasular
(CercleFinance.com) - Philips has announced signing an agreement to acquire Intact Vascular, a US company developing medical devices for mini-invasive peripheral vascular procedures, a deal that will strengthen its portfolio of image-guided therapies.
The transaction, subject to customary closing conditions, is expected to be completed in the third quarter. Philips will make an upfront payment of 275 million dollars and deferred payments for which it is expected to book a provision of 85 million dollars.
