Philips: signs deal with US hospital chain.
(CercleFinance.com) - Philips has found an agreement with a Michigan-based health group to integrate its patient monitoring system.
The Dutch company said Lakeland Health has chosen to integrate Philips' IntelliVue Guardian solution with automated early warning scoring (EWS) at all three of its hospitals.
In a statement, Lakeland Health said that since it first implemented Philips technology in June 2016, the number of heart attacks and respiratory arrests have decreased by approximately 56%.
The IntelliVue Guardian system acquires vital signs, calculates an early warning score, displays it at the point of care, and informs responsible caregivers to take immediate action.
