Heineken: Brazilian beer to stay with Coca-Cola bottlers
(CercleFinance.com) - An arbitration court has ruled that Kaiser, one of Heineken's brands in Brazil, must keep its current agreements with the Coca-Cola distribution system.
The decision means that Kaiser will continue to be distributed by Coca Cola's Brazilian bottlers until March 2022, the planned termination date of the original arrangements.
Since 2017, Heineken had to manage two different route-to-markets in Brazil, as the beer giant now also owns Brasil Kirin.
The company said it plans to manage these two separate distribution networks until 2022.
