Degiro: strong growth in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - Online broker Degiro announced on Wednesday that it had won over many new clients in the first half of 2020, with a total of 217,548 new accounts during the first six months of the year.
Representing an impressive rise of around 265% compared to H1 2019, this increased the number of accounts at the end of H1 2020 to 633,175, up 52% y-o-y.
There was a similar leap in business: Degiro processed some 24.53 million transactions in the first half of 2020, meaning a spectacular increase of +169% in the space of one year.
