ArcelorMittal: exceeds expectations in 1st quarter
(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal posts a group share of net profit for the first quarter of 2018 up 19% to almost 1.

The steel giant's EBITDA grew 12.6% to just over 2.5 billion dollars, beating consensus by around 2.3 billion, for revenue growth of 19% to almost 19.2 billion dollars.
“The outlook for 2018 has strengthened as the year has progressed, with the combination of growing demand and supply-side reform in China” explains CEO Lakshmi Mittal.
