SES: contract renewed with Intersat in Africa
(CercleFinance.com) - Satellite operator SES announced on Tuesday that it has renewed a contract with Intersat to provide Internet services in Africa.
The agreement states that Intersat will continue to rely on SES' NSS-12 satellite, located at the 57 degrees East orbital position, to provide broadband connectivity to businesses and consumers.
The partnership between SES and Intersat, which provides Internet access services via satellite to government organisations and institutions, as well as private sector companies, dates back to 2010.
