SES: 351 million TV homes worldwide in 2017
(CercleFinance.com) - SES has announced that the number of households served increased to 351 million in 2017 according to SES' annual market research, Satellite Monitor.
The group reached 325 million households served in 2016. SES currently delivers video content to over one billion people worldwide.
On a like-for-like basis, the technical reach increased by 9 million SES TV homes, mainly in Nigeria, Ghana and the Middle East.
Out of the 351 million TV homes, SES directly reaches 145 million, and indirectly serves another 147 million cable homes, 40 million IPTV homes and 18 million terrestrial homes.
