Toyota: develops production of fuel-cell vehicles
(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota wants to increase the production of fuel cells and hydrogen tanks tenfold by 2020.
The group's forecasts that its global sales of hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles are expected to increase significantly after 2020 from around 3,000 units at present to at least 30,000 per year.
To increase its fuel cell production, which is currently installed in one of the buildings of the Honsha complex in Toyota City, Toyota will move it into a newly built eight-story high-tech building on the same site.
