WPP: acquires healthcare player in Germany
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday WPP announced the acquisition of 3K Agentur für Kommunikation (3K), a German communications agency specialising in the healthcare sector, as part of its strategy to accelerate its growth.
The UK advertising giant says that 3K will join its global network Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) with the aim of strengthening its presence in the pharmaceutical industry and the German market.
The London-based group points out that the H+K division, which is currently in the midst of a transformation, has grown by over 25% in the last two years.
After Fenom Digital, Diff, Passport, Newcraft and Corebiz, this is the sixth acquisition made by WPP in the last six months.
