BHP: names two independent directors.
(CercleFinance.com) - Global mining company BHP on Wednesday appointed Terry Bowen and John Mogford as independent non-executive directors, effective as from 1 October.
Bowen was most recently finance director of Australian conglomerate Wesfarmers, but will retire from his position towards the end of 2017.
The company also said that Mogford has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, including 33 years at BP in technical, operational and top management roles.
