Unicredit: market hails annual results
(CercleFinance.com) - The Unicredit share is bubbling on Thursday morning, up 5.
5% in Milan, after the group published a 2019 net loss of 835 million euros, against a loss of 1.1 billion expected by Aurel BGC, with its net adjusted income up 68.5% at 1.42 billion euros.
Over the full-year, Unicredit generated adjusted net profit that is up 55.5% at 4.7 billion euros, for revenues of 18.8 billion euros, above its target of 18.7 billion euros.
Unicredit is clearly performing better after steps taken for its drastic remedy, Aurel BGC said, stressing that the Italian bank plans to reward its shareholders with a big increase in dividends and share buybacks.
