Prysmian: completes acquisition of US rival General Cable
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian cablemaker Prysmian said on Thursday that it has completed the 3 billion dollar acquisition of US rival General Cable.
Under the terms of the all-cash deal, which was agreed in December 2017, Prysmian has acquired all the outstanding common stock of General Cable for 30 dollars per share.
With the completion of the transaction, General Cable's shares will no longer be listed on the NYSE or any other public market, Prysmian said.
