Prysmian: results up at end-September.
(CercleFinance.com) - Unveiled after trading yesterday, Prysmian's 9m results to end-September included a 4.
3% year-on-year increase in net income, group share.
Reaching 196 million euros, they included 81 million euros in Q3 alone (+9.5%).
The 9m operating profit of the industrial cable manufacturer and Nexans' competitor came in at 341 million euros, up 2.4%, while Ebita rose by 5% to 512 million euros (+3.3% on an adjusted basis at 545 million euros).
Revenues reached almost 5.87 billion euros, up 3.6% as reported. However, revenues were down 1.1% in organic terms, and fell by 0.4% in Q3.
