Telecom Italia: finds agreement regarding subsidiary Inwit
(CercleFinance.com) - Telecom Italia announced on Wednesday evening that it has reached an agreement with the investment company Ardian to sell a 30.
2% stake in Inwit, the company that combines its telecom masts and Vodafone Italia's towers.
Under the terms of the deal - which is expected to raise some 1.6 billion euros for the Italian operator - the consortium led by Ardian will hold a 49% stake in the holding company.
TIM will retain control over the capital and voting rights of the holding company, which will allow it to maintain operational control over Inwit, alongside Vodafone.
