Telecom Italia: considers integration of Open Fiber networks
(CercleFinance.com) - Following the publication of information in the press, last night the Italian telecom operator Telecom Italia (TIM) issued a statement.
TIM says that it has signed a confidentiality agreement with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP), the Italian deposit bank, and the energy company Enel to discuss a possible integration between TIM's and Open Fiber's fiber optic networks, including corporate operations.
These discussions are aimed at determining the feasibility of such an operation.
