Telecom Italia: strategic partnership with Eurosport.
(CercleFinance.com) - Telecom Italia Media has signed a strategic partnership that will bring sporting events such as the Olympic Games, Roland Garros, Giro d'Italia and Tour de France to TIM customers with Discovery's Eurosport.
This contract will last until the end of 2020.
Under terms of the deal, the TIMvision streaming decoder will give direct access to both the theme channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, with the complete programming of all live sporting events offered by Eurosport.
In particular the deal includes Grand Slam tennis tournaments (Australian Open, Roland Garros, the US Open), IAAF Athletics World Championships, the Basketball EuroCup and all winter sports.
The partnership will enable TIM customers to watch the forthcoming Winter Olympic Games of PyeongChang in 2018.
