Eni: inaugurates Athies-Samossy solar park in France
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announced late on Tuesday that Dhamma Energy, the solar energy specialist that is fully owned by Eni, has inaugurated the 87.
5 Mwp Athies-Samoussy solar park.
The five power plants forming the Athies-Samoussy complex are now fully operational and constitute the largest solar farm in the Hauts-de-France region and one of the top ten in France.
The solar power plant will produce 93 GWh per year, which is equivalent to the domestic consumption of 40,000 households.
The solar park covers 100 hectares of the former NATO air base at Laon-Athies, which has been abandoned and has now been converted to a site focused on sustainability.
