Eni: signs MoU in Angola
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni has announced signing a memorandum of understanding in Angola, between Eni Angola, ANPG (National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels) and Sonangol (the state-owned company in charge of oil exploitation in Angola), concerning the joint development of the agri-biofuel sector in the country.
Based on the circular economy model, the three partners wish to open a path towards Angola becoming net zero by evaluating the development of certain crops and commercial opportunities in the areas of waste collection.
Eni underlines that this agreement is in line with its commitment to accompany the energy transition in fossil fuel producing countries, promoting the integration of the African continent in the biofuel value chain.
