Eni: starts production offshore Angola
(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Friday Eni announced that it has started production from the Cabaça North project (Block 15/06) in Angola's deep offshore via a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) unit, the Armada Olombendo vessel.
Maximum daily production from Cabaça North is expected to be around 15,000 barrels of oil equivalent.
This is Eni Angola's second start-up in 2021, following the Cuica field in July. A third start-up is expected in the coming months in the western area of Block 15/06.
Eni shares closed pretty flat on Friday, just short of 11 euros each.
