Eni: gas condensate discovery offshore Vietnam
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian energy group Eni announced on Monday that a new gas condensate discovery made at a well on its Ken Bau project had confirmed the "significant" potential of this block located off the coast of Vietnam.
The Ken Bau 2X well - located two kilometres from the original project - was drilled in 95 metres of water, over 3.6 kilometres below sea level, Eni said in a statement.
Eni says that it is associated 50/50 with the Indian company Essar in its exploration activities in Vietnam.
