Eni: to deploy Britain's OVO technology platform
(CercleFinance.com) - Italy's Eni said on Thursday that it will deploy the technology platform powering OVO, one of Britain's largest energy suppliers, starting with France.
Kaluza - OVO's real-time platform - features automation and intelligent insights, along with digital customer experience, while optimising energy use and integrating smart-home devices.
Eni's gas, electricity and energy unit for the retail and business market - which currently serves nearly 10 million customers in four European countries - has set a long-term goal of building a portfolio of 20 million customers worldwide by 2050.
