Eni: enters Australian renewable market with solar deal
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian energy group Eni is entering the Australian renewable energy market after finalising the acquisition of a solar project in the northern part of the country, it said on Tuesday.
Eni has completed the acquisition of a construction-ready solar photo-voltaic project near Katherine, which is set to become the largest PV farm in the Northern Territory.
This project will contribute to the Northern Territory's government target to procure 50% of its energy from renewable sources by 2030, Eni said.
