Eni: sells 20% stake in Egypt offshore block to Mubadala
(CercleFinance.com) - Italian oil and gas group Eni has agreed to sell a 20% stake in Egypt's offshore Nour North Sinai concession to United Arab Emirates' Mubadala Petroleum.
The Nour block is located in the East Nile Delta Basin of the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 50 km offshore, in water depth ranging from 50 metres to 400 metres, and covers a total area of 739 km2.
Eni is currently drilling the exploration well with its partner.
