Eni: boosts Egypt's Nooros field output
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni has strengthened its production in the Nooros gas field, offshore Egypt, with output now representing the highest ever recorded by an Eni field in Egypt over the last 50 years.
The Italian energy major has reached a production of 32 million cubic metres per day, equivalent to around 215,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, thanks to the start-up of a thirteenth well drilled within the field.
Production levels are set to increase further in the coming months, reaching 34 million cubic metres per day of production, equivalent to around 230,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, Eni said.
