Generali: BarCap raises target price
(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays Capital (BarCap) maintains its "underweight" rating on Generali, although has raised its target price from 14.
2 euros to 15.5 euros, saying that it is more constructive on European insurance in 2019, adopting a positive outlook on this sector.
“While global growth is slowing, our economists still expect the world's major economies to grow at or above trend in 2019, and risk assets are more attractively priced,” the broker says.
In this environment, BarCap believes that "consistent delivery of relative positive earnings and dividends revisions will continue, particularly as sector fundamentals improve".
