Generali: new strategic plan to accelerate growth
(CercleFinance.com) - Generali plans to post average EPS growth of 6% to 8% per year through 2021 as part of a new three-year strategic plan which aims to accelerate the group's growth.
The "Generali 2021" plan also calls for growing dividends, with a target pay-out ratio range of 55% to 65% for the period.
Main contributors to the insurer's target include increased core profitability from insurance and asset management businesses, additional cost cutting, active management of interest expenses and a redeployment of capital to profitable growth initiatives, the group said.
Details of the new three-year strategic plan have been approved by Generali's board of directors in Milan.
Generali shares were up 1.7% after this presentation.
